The Run Hut

Experience authentic backcountry adventure in our off-grid Run Hut, a rustic hunter’s cabin set in a 30-acre meadow with sweeping mountain views. Offering basic bunk accommodation for up to 8 guests, the hut provides direct access to pristine waterways and established 4WD*and walking tracks, making it an ideal base for exploring Puhi Peaks.

*Please note: only our station vehicles are allowed on the 4WD tracks beyond the Run Hut.

Sleeps up to 8 (5 bunks in main room, 3 in back room)
Wet-back woodburner for hot water and cooking
Gas cooker, pots, pans, cutlery, and a dining table with chairs
Shower, bathroom sink, and flushing toilet
Short walks to waterways and stunning alpine views
Sheets, pillows, and pillowcases included — bring your own sleeping bags or duvets
No fridge — bring chilly bins/ice packs for cold food supplies
